About the event
It's my favorite day of the month... Sound Bath Day! This is a group event (up to 20 participants) and is intended to be a space for people to let go of their stress, worries, fear, and pain, and instead cultivate a sense of peace, well-being, connection, and harmony. We always begin with a gentle warm up inspired by qi-gong, followed by some activating breathwork to internally "warm up". After opening up the body and improving circulation of all physiological processes, we calm our perception and bodies down by calming the breath down before going into a guided meditation. The guided meditation acts as a path to the portal into the dimension of vibration and frequency. Silence breathes for a moment, and as the instruments begin to play, allow yourself to melt away in complete surrender while intertwining with the serene song of the quartz sound bowls.
The duration of the event lasts about an hour, but we allow extra time in the end for sharing and mingling. Sometimes we have complementary tea to enjoy after the sound bath to help wake everyone up before they drive home. :)
Admission: $35 --- Buddy Special: Bring loved ones and its $30 for each of you!
RSVP with your email and phone number and I will reach out to confirm your attendance.
We please ask that you pay before the event. Venmo @melissa-baller. Cash at the door is accepted.
Thank you and we are so excited to share this sacred space with you. <3
Common FAQ
What is a Sound Bath?
A sound bath offers a nurturing experience where individuals can envelop themselves in the soothing vibrations of diverse sound instruments like singing bowls and chimes. During the session, participants usually find comfort in lying down or sitting in a relaxed position as the facilitator crafts a meditative ambiance through the gentle play of these instruments. The benefits of a sound bath extend to stress alleviation, heightened relaxation, and improved mental clarity, fostering a harmonious connection with oneself. The comforting sounds are thought to bring about a sense of equilibrium and tranquility within the body and mind, leaving participants with a profound feeling of serenity and renewal. Anticipate a serene setting, where the resonant tones guide you into a state of deep relaxation, creating a uniquely therapeutic experience.
Can individuals with sensitive hearing attend a sound bath?
It's advisable for those with sensitive hearing to communicate their concerns with the facilitator beforehand. We provide earplugs to accommodate participants with sensitivities. Even with earplugs in, the individual will still greatly benefit from feeling the calming vibrations of the instruments.
